12V-0.8/3.6A charger with 5 modes
|
Product description:
This smart charger for 12V batteries (4-100Ah) has a built-in microprocessor, which allows it to use 5 different modes.
The 5 modes look like this:
1.) Desulfation: The desulfation mode can interrupt the sulfation that occurs in batteries that have been left idle for an extended period of time and fully recharge them. Sulfation occurs when lead sulfate cures and blocks the battery cells.
2.) Bulk: The Bulk mode charges the battery at the maximum rate (constant current), causing a large amount of current to flow into the battery in a short time. This mode will charge the battery approximately 60% until the voltage reaches 14.7 volts on the 12V charger.
3.) Absorption (constant voltage): The charging speed slows down so that the battery can absorb more energy and reach a charge of 80%. The voltage remains constant at 14.7 volts on the 12V charger while the current is gradually reduced until no more power is added without overcharging the battery.
4.) Float (maintenance mode): The maintenance mode keeps the battery at 100% charge, without overcharging or damaging the battery. This means that the charger can remain connected to the battery indefinitely.
5.) Stop: The charger stops charging and cuts off the power.
